HoneyTree Stationary Lovers Club January Box By Alisha

This month I received HoneyTree's Stationary lover club box. This box is of course a monthly subscription in which you receive bespoke stationary items such as Postcards,  gift tags and greetings cards. Many of the stationary items received in the S. lovers subscription box are exclusive limited designs only available to subscribers so you're getting something special! Each box will have 7 items and the value will be at least £30, the cost of the box is £15 and this price is cheaper for bigger subscriptions (3,6 and 12 months). When signing up you receive a free gift of another box worth £12 that contains 3 greetings cards and envelopes, this is dispatched the same week you sign up so you could receive this before your actual box so you by a taster! Boxes are shipped on the 22nd, if you subscribe before the 15th your gift will arrive beforehand if not it will arrive around the same time or after your monthly box.

In my box I received:
Two Valentine's Day themed cards with envelopes.
A printed card with a biscuit illustration perfect to frame and put in the kitchen!
Teapot postcards x4 with envelopes
Two gift tags, with ribbon, one that would be perfect for a Valentine's gift.
A beautiful planner/calender card themed around birthdays but would work just as well as a small regular calender possibly for your bedroom!

The quality of all the items I've received is great, the card used is thick with a slight texture. I particularly love the cards and tags. The designs are lovely, I like that the Valentine's cards are not traditional 'Be my valentine' or 'I love you' cards and they have character to them. For anyone that loves stationary or giving cards with a difference, this is one that would be really enjoyed and you can buy as a gift also. One thing that makes this box even more special is they give back to those in need. £1 from each box is given to their supported charity, Post Pals. This charity works with seriously ill children give them some well deserved smiles with the simplest things of a letter or card, friendship and support or a gift. You can see what they help to do or get involved yourself in the giving back section, http://www.honeytreepost.com/pages/charity-commitment-post-pals.
I hope you all enjoy the review, there will be more to come shortly! For anyone that wants to know more or to subscribe themselves the website link is included 😊 Alisha.

The Natural Beauty Box January Review

So to kick off my 1st review off the year, I have the pleasure of trying out a brand new beauty subscription box from The Natural Beauty Box, the theme for January is Rise and Shine.

Unlike some beauty boxes out there this one is made of 5 or 6 products that are all entirely natural, organic and cruelty free products, which is very important to a lot of people now days. Each month the box will be fitted around a new theme.

The products in each box will either be travel or full size, so not a sample in sight, which will be very popular in my eyes.

The price for a monthly subscription to The Natural Beauty Box is £24.95 including free delivery, and there is also a 3 or 6 month subscription plan available, what I also adore about this box is that each month a different charity will be chosen and 50p from each sale will be given to the charity.

So on offer this month as part of the Rise and Shine theme the box contained 6 products

1.  African Orange Aromatic Wash from Evolve Beauty
2. Fresh Face Facial Wash from Evolve Beauty
3. The Naked Soap which has been handmade by Crafting With Beth
4. FranChouilPom Facial Serum from Teree Verdi
5. Citrus Natural Deodorant in a Citrus Scent from Earth Conscious
6. Organic Cotton Double Sided Muslim Cloth/ Super Soft Flannel

Each item has been hand selected to bring you the best of the best when it comes to products all natural, and each one can be used as part of a morning daily routine to set you up for your day whether it be going to work, to the gym or even staying at home with the kids.

I started my day off by having a nice hot shower using the African Orange Wash. This got my senses going and started to wake me up for the day ahead. Once out the shower I used the facial wash that is made from scents of Papaya and Goji, this left my face feeling very refreshed and soft. I used my Muslim cloth to rinse it off. Once dry I applied the deodorant which is a bit different from the norm and rather than a spray or roll on this is a bit like a wax that you apply using your fingertips. The citrus smell is very refreshing and not over powering like other citrus products.  It does what it says on the tin, really IT WORKS. Once dressed and before I apply my moisturiser I used the Facial Serum by Teree Verdi, a little goes a long way with this product and certainly felt the benefits especially in this cold weather where my skin is getting a battering. I have used the Naked soap on and off all day as and when I needed to wash my hands, the soap is an Avocado Soap, its unscented and uncoloured, its very soothing on your hands due to being packed full of conditioning oils.

All in all I have thoroughly enjoyed using the products from this box and if anything it has really opened up my eyes about natural products that are available at a affordable cost. With The Natural Beauty Box you can continue to discover these great products.

Please check out their Facebook page and website where if you sign up to their newsletter you can receive a 10% discount on your 1st box.

Scent In A Box Review by Alisha

In December In received Scent In A Box, I've taken longer to review this as I've given the products a good go and of course have been delayed with the holidays. This is a subscription box that you receive 3 gorgeous smelling items each month, for those who love their lovely smelling things this is a perfect one for you.

Scent in a box combines bath bombs, wax melts and candles to make their box. The use smaller artisan businesses so you'll always be discovering new brands to find your favourite items. I know many on our group really love these three things so A Box with all these is perfect and would make a fab gift.

In my December box there was of course a festive theme that ran through all the three items. They all smelt of Christmas and winter scents which I really enjoyed using to get into the Christmas spirit! The box itself is simple but makes it feel very special and I love the ribbon and stamp design which is very unique.

I received a Woodland wax Melt from Colton candles, of course this one smells of winter for trees with some wild juniper berries, cedar wood and peppermint and the combination together smells amazing not something I'd think to buy myself. It's a sweet smell with the berries and of course a natural woody feel as if you'd been to the woods for a little trip. Also this one has a green glitter at the back which is super festive, the shape also means it's really easy to break and get lots of uses from it's a great size.
My next product is a large bath bomb also from Colton candles which is scented with winter berries. It's a beautiful vibrant purple colour and looks really pretty, when using it in the bath the water goes a beautiful deep pink colour. The bath bomb contains shea butter so when using this the water feels so lovely and smooth and makes your skin feel so silky soft and really moisturised too.
My final product is a candle from Yorkshire rose candles. This is a Christmas Eve candle, the perfect item for a December box. This smells of lots of festive treats and is a lovely sweet smell that isn't overwhelming. The scents that make up this candle are apple, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and sweet pastry. The smell reminded me of an apple crumble or pie smell, with the twist of the vanilla that came through for me. We burned this a few times and of course on Christmas Eve and it's lovely, it's also very beautifully designed with a patch of holly patterned fabric.

Overall this is another great box, for anyone that isn't so much into beauty or would like to try something different this one is definitely one to try. It's £19.95 per box, received at the end of the month (dispatched around the 22nd and billed the first). Anyone wanting to sign up can do so via the link, they also have a Facebook and Instagram aswell as other social media so you can follow them with some hints at the boxes.

I hope you all find this helpful, there will be another review soon of another new box! Alisha

Meltybox November Review by Alisha

This month I received the November edition of Meltybox. Meltybox is a subscription from Imperial Candles that features 9 of their candle melts, one of which has a hidden jewel inside with a value of £10-£2000. The Jewellery will either be a ring, earrings or a necklace and you get to choose your preferred jewel, these will then be one of either Silver, Yellow or White gold in material. You won't get a repeat scent for at least 6 months, the melts you receive are mostly exclusive scents not able to buy.

The boxes are sent out after the 25th of the month via Royal Mail. They arrive in a beautiful Meltybox design cardboard box which has a lovely pattern on there which makes this box perfect as a gift, it's already packaged up! The melts are inside with a card showing the scents you've received.

I received some seasonal Autum, Christmas themed melts with some other scents in this box. The scents I received are: Raspberry Zinger, Candy Cane swirls, Apple Cinnamon, Snuggable, Santa's Cookies, Frost Snow Drops, Warm Vanilla sugar, Pine Forest and Pumpkin and Hazelnut. I also received a pair of Sterling silver earrings worth £15 in one of my melts.
The melts come in plastic container labelled with the scents and have a pattern to match the scent, everything about this box is really beautiful and has had a lot of thought out into it. The melts are good quality highly scented candle melts (depending on scent) and can last for up to 20 hours so you'll get lots of use from the whole box. If you're lucky enough to receive the most expensive jewel you'll receive a card and it'll be sent separately for security reasons.

The box starts from £19 depending on which subscription you opt for. The melts themselves to buy are £1.99 each so this box is worth a minimum of £27.91 but can be much more with the Jewellery and there are also chances to win Evers prizes. I think this box is great value, there are many candle/melt boxes around but this one is unique with the surprise jewel it's very fun and would make the perfect gift. This is a box I would happily buy again and recommend for anyone that loves candle melts and is looking for a box that's a bit different. The company Imperial candles also sell Candles, Bath bombs and other items that contain Jewellery and you can also buy packs of these items. The melts you buy online don't contain Jewellery. The website is linked below, I hope this has been helpful to you all! Alisha x
